What Are They?

These souvenirs can be bought from the Galaxy’s Edge Disney Studios site in their famed Don Odar’s Den of Antiques.

What Do They Come With?

If you’ve managed to pick up a Legacy Lightsaber, then you might be surprised to know that they usually only come with the hilt and other accessories are sold separately. A standard legacy hilt comes in a plastic storage or display box.

Blades can be purchased on-site alongside lightsaber stands, shoulder carrying cases, and belt clip attachments. Collectible sets, however, do come with blades.

There are certain hilts that come with adaptors that replace end caps, this allows you to attach two hilts together to form a double-bladed lightsaber.

Custom Legacy Lightsabers

As the legacy lightsabers are exact replicas of the characters’ weapons, they can’t really be customized. If you were hoping to get a more customized souvenir then you can head over to Savi’s Workshop which is a guest experience that allows visitors to make their own lightsaber from scratch.

Guests get to choose which sets they want as well as the colors of their kyber crystal. This activity will set you back around $219.99 plus tax for each lightsaber you make.

For this price, each guest will receive a hilt, 2 emitters, 2 pommel caps, 4 sleeves, and 2 sets of activation plates and switches.

Buying Legacy Lightsabers Online

Although legacy lightsabers aren’t usually sold online through official Disney sources, sometimes they can be found at shopDisney, but this is mostly to sell the rarer Limited Edition and Collectible Sets.

There are many second-hand sellers online too, sights such as eBay, Amazon, and collector fan sites often sell legacy lightsabers.

However, these are limited to what is available at the time so you aren’t guaranteed to get the particular souvenir of your choice. Your best bet is to visit Galaxy’s Edge itself.

It should be noted that some of the prices with these types of online sellers are usually a bit more expensive. Some sellers offer monthly payment plans to help spread this cost out over time.

Final Thoughts

With all the options available, the biggest decision will be picking which legacy lightsaber you want to take home with you.

Don’t forget to buy a separate blade if you’re planning to go head-to-head in battle with someone from the opposite side.

We hope you found this article interesting and informative, helping you to better understand the legacy lightsabers you can purchase from Galaxy’s Edge.
